Tina Layton has been a British Horse Society Instructor since 1987, and has been competing seriously in dressage since the early eighties.

Tina is an International rider having represented Great Britain, and has ridden, trained and competed her horses which include Marius, Lanzo, and Pik Dame up to Grand Prix level.

Pik Dame has qualified for the National Championships every year since elementary level. Recent placings include:

Tina's Grand Prix debut was with Borrowdale (known to his many friends as Buster) who was a true companion and a schoolmaster to Tina - and in his latter years to many privileged clients.

For the past 12 years Tina has trained with Arthur Kottas, the First Chief Rider of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna.

Tina is also a BHS and ABRS examiner, trains students for their exams, teaches riders of all levels and horses up to Grand Prix.

She also conducts dressage clinics throughout the country and also enjoys teaching, dog training & agility, eating Chinese food, drinking lemon tea and Hardys. And in addition to the horses Tina has her gorgeous little boy Zak
