JOIN THE CONTESSA TEAM
New position available for Senior Working Student to work towards BHSII or ABRS TC
We work a 5 1/2 day week, 8am-5pm (8.30am-5pm 2 days a week), with one evening per week (for which extra time off is given during the day). Your training will include a minimum of 6 hours per week riding, stable management, UKCC theory and practical, teaching practice etc. On site self-catering accommodation is available, but a live out position would be preferable.
You will be trained on a variety of horses from Novice up to Grand Prix level, you will have a wide variety of riders to teach and improve your teaching skills with, and you will learn about the organisation and running of a busy riding school. Our main focus is dressage, but we have monthly show jumping clinics with John Adams. We also hold regular dressage clinics with International trainer John Bowen. Our wide variety of events will also give you an insight into the other disciplines that we offer such as Vaulting and side-saddle.

Junior working Student position
Opportunity for a working student to work towards BHS/ABRS/NVQ exams at Contessa Riding Centre. We train up to BHSI, ABRS ATD and NVQ level 3. This position would suit someone starting on the training ladder, looking to achieve their first teaching qualification.
We work a 5 1/2 day week, 8am-5pm (8.30am-5pm 2 days a week), with one evening per week (for which extra time off is given during the day). Your training will include a minimum of 6 hours per week riding, stable management teaching practice etc., you will also receive a small wage. On site self-catering accommodation is available.
We have a wide range of horses to learn on, from novice horses right up to Grand Prix level. Our main focus is dressage, but we also hold monthly show jumping clinics with John Adams , and regular dressage clinics with International trainer John Bowen (both of which students are encouraged to join in on). We have an extensive schedule of events, which is available to view on our website, giving students the opportunity to get involved in many different equestrian disciplines, including side-saddle and vaulting to name a few!
