Contessa Riding Centre – Dressage Schedule 2009

Sunday 17th May – the Team challenge tests will be Contessa Test Z, Novice 25 and Elementary 44. Each test must be ridden by one member of the team. The fourth member (if applicable) can ride any of the 3 tests.

Class 1 – For horse and rider combination never to have won a novice test
Class 2 – For horse and rider combination never to have won BD points
Class 3 – Open – horse and rider combination may enter the class up to 3 times (riding a different test per entry) you choose which of the stated tests you would like to ride and the class will be scored on a % basis

Rules and Entries for Dressage Competitions

• All Entries close 7 days prior to the show date.
• Times must be obtained by phoning the secretary 2 days prior to the show date between 10am and 4pm on (01920) 821792
• Entry fee is £9.00 per class, and gives you day membership to the Contessa Clients’ Club. Class 3 - £9 initial entry then £7 per subsequent test (ie. If you are doing both prelim and novice in class 3 entry is £16 for that class) Clients may hire a school horse at a fee of £10 plus entry fee for one class or £15 plus entry fees for two classes.
• Late entries may be accepted, depending upon numbers, plus £1 per class.
• Post your completed entry form and cheque made payable to ‘T. Layton’ to: Show Secretary, Contessa Riding Centre, Colliers End, Nr. Ware, Herts, SG11 1EN. Please enclose SAE with all entries.
• Withdrawals forfeit entry fee after close of entries, for whatever reason.
• British Dressage rules apply.
• Arena sizes may vary slightly.
• Clients on Contessa horses must wear a hat to current standards.
• In the event of low entries, classes may be combined and placed on a percentage basis.
